Volunteer Opportunity Details

The Women in Pharma Liaison serves as the representative between the Women in Pharma Committee and the 2027 Annual Meeting Program Committee to support conference planning, communication, and engagement. This role helps ensure appropriate Women in Pharma representation, alignment with conference objectives, and timely coordination of related activities.

Requirements

• Must be an active member within Women in Pharma
• Must have prior experience supporting Women in Pharma efforts
• Maintain active ISPE membership in good standing.
• Availability for 4-6 months, up to 8 hours per month

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Women in Pharma Liaison on the Program Committee.
• Communicate regularly with the Women in Pharma Committee regarding conference progress, including agenda development, promotional efforts, and conference registration status.
• Promote the conference among industry colleagues and help engage other Women in Pharma members in promotional efforts.
• Attend regularly scheduled Program Committee meetings.
• Attend the conference in person

Women in Pharma Education Session Responsibilities

For the Annual Meeting & Expo, Women in Pharma will have dedicated programming opportunities, which may include a session, track, or activity.

The Liaison will:

• Support the development, coordination, and alignment of Women in Pharma programming with the Annual Meeting Program Committee.
• Commit to the conference planning timeline and meet all corresponding deliverables.
• Work with subject matter experts, as applicable, to oversee the development and execution of all aspects of the Women in Pharma Education Session.
• Ensure Women in Pharma activities are aligned with the overall conference agenda, objectives, and planning process.
